Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what information NovoPT collects during its beta testing period and how it is used. Because NovoPT is beta software that is not HIPAA compliant, you must not enter real patient data or protected health information (PHI).
1. Information we collect
- Account information — the email address and profile details you provide when you sign up.
- Content you create — test data you enter while evaluating the Service, such as sample patients, schedules, and notes.
- Usage data — basic technical and usage information (for example, log data and device/browser details) used to operate and improve the Service.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the beta Service.
- To respond to your feedback and support requests.
- To monitor stability, diagnose issues, and prevent abuse.
3. How information is shared
We do not sell your information. We may share it with service providers who help us run the Service (for example, hosting and database infrastructure), and where required by law.
4. Data retention and security
Beta data may be reset or deleted at any time and should not be relied on for storage. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no beta system can be guaranteed secure — another reason to use test data only.
5. Your choices
You may request deletion of your beta account and associated data by contacting us. Closing your account will remove your access to the Service.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
